Whatnot launched 4 years ago. Market launched 5 months ago. Not a good comparison if you are looking at the number of streams. If you have a self service type of craigslist of streaming instead of a premium service like MARKET, of course you'll have streaming going on all the time after 4 years but...
Whatnot diluted investors 7 times raising around 1/2 billion dollars. Whatnot customer acquisition cost is very high. Whatnot losing money. Funny no one mentioned that.
Whatnot is exactly the way not to do Live Streaming. Will it work out for Whatnot? I don't know, but let's see if they can raise another $200M in this climate and make it up on volume. If they can't. They may be OOB.
