Digital trading cards that Donald Trump is selling for $99 feature a gleaming Trump Tower and gold bars – but the companies administering the promotional gambit are sorting mail entries out of a one-story building in upstate New York and overseeing the sweepstakes from a Utah strip mall.
Although Trump's precise cut wasn't known, the former president stood to make a six or seven-figure haul – with funds going into his own bank account, and not his presidential campaign – earning rebukes from some longtime allies.
