Cyrus will get promoted to CEO. The 6 month trial period has two purposes; 1) to entice him to work hard and be to laser focused on developing a plan to turn things around, and 2) give the BoD an off-ramp if he fails to deliver. And the odds of Cyrus failing on either of those was minimal given that Antonio said during the announcement that he had the privilidge of working with Cyrus for a couple of months prior to his hiring date, and he was very impressed with him.

Cyrus will be our next CEO, and I would expect a PR after the BoD formally votes on it. I have no idea how often the BoD meets (most boards meet once a month), so I would not just assume he won't be our CEO if we don't get an announcement until the end of Jan.
