The problem is HIV viral reservoirs. Years ago I calculated that it would take 15 (?) years to naturally clear existing reservoirs. Maraviroc and most certainly leronlimab will elevate the clearing of reservoirs somewhat. But there are other drugs that elevate the clearing of reservoirs. So it's possible that AAV combined with reservoir clearing drugs could effectuate a complete cure.
