I've been diagnosed with CFS and it can get really bad at times, so I reached out to Dr Patterson last year. He said his protocol could help. I did the testing and my biomarkers didn't fit the profile so I wasn't a candidate for his treatment.

But by that time I'd already decided I wanted no part of it because while I was waiting for my test results, I emailed him with concerns about side effects from maraviroc. One thing I deal with is serious reactions to everything. Doctors have given me a multitude of drugs over the years and other than levothyroxine I have had awful reactions to everything.

So when explained this to Dr Patterson and asked him about the possible downsides of taking maraviroc, he said "maraviroc is absolutely safe". Which was a huuuuuuuuge red flag to me.
