Moreover, Chinook Therapeutics believes that atrasentan, which is in phase III development for IgAN, has the potential to provide benefit in multiple chronic kidney diseases by reducing proteinuria and having direct anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects to preserve kidney function.
