Cytodyn worked, but the data and trials were only beginning so the how, what dose etc.. info was far from being clarified. It was to be a holiday treatment for hiv patients that needed to take a break from there cocktail drug side effects. Kind of an alternative to hold the patient over so they could recover from the side effects of the front line treatments. I remember wondering why have a holiday drug that works better than the typical treatments, but I think it was a low bar to cross to fund future trials and expanding the usage. I don’t know what was so different between Cytodyn no pro 140 but do know it was startling when we bought pro140. Mostly because Cytodyn had so much going for it.
