Personally, I do not trust the FTD data being shown by the SEC.
"They" are hiding much of it. The SEC doesn't see it all.
When people ask me to prove there are FTDs out there in great numbers and then
show official sites which show little to no FTDs I don't even respond to their posts anymore. Like synthetic shares derived through the CNS program that are used to attack stocks like $AMC the same people claim there are no naked short shares.
ISDA contracts expiring on Monday and this may add some pressure on "them" from the derivatives side of things.
They show what "they" want to show IMO just to make it look squeaky clean when it's not.
