It’s protected because it’s patented. He can leave and “benchmark” a new monoclonal off the old one but he can’t copy it exactly. He’d also be starting from scratch, requiring many years of effort and funding.
There are likely tens, if not hundreds (including Samsung and FDA employees), who could probably access the formula if they were so inclined. That information has to be shared to be manufactured and shared to be approved. It also typically shows up in the prescribing information (the small packet of information that comes folded up inside every prescription) once approved for anyone to look at. What stops people from copying it are the legal ramifications set in place by our patent system.
The suggestion in your other post that Pestell knew about Amarex and was trying to steal control of Leronlimab away as some form of protection or act of heroism is revisionist BS. It was 100% a group of people trying to get control of Leronlimab for their own benefit. LL is extremely valuable and the only “knowledge” that group had was they “knew” things weren’t going as well as many had thought and they thought (wrongly) that they could prey on that to enrich themselves. That window was small though, and most of them were too fat to fit through.
