20K annual interest on a 200K note x 3.25 years (june 2019-sept-2022) is actually 65K in interest, not 20K number you were helping with. So somehow the company is getting an even better deal.
But, there is a minimum interest rate that will need to be applied on a cash loan unless it has the ability to be converted...or already converted through shares to pay for the interest. But, not sure if you can do that.
