I assumed they were processed in order .. However with td ameritrade i found that drilling down further into bid ask ..sometimes u will have an order at lets say .35 .. But if u zoom in or drill down there will be a couple of orders there at lets say .1@ .355 and the one 1 @.35 .. Ive had to adjust mine a few times when i wanted filled next .. But who knows .. I use thinkorswim platform so it has a bid ask display where i can just click on the price and submit but allows me to expend either way for wider or closer look at the order prices for bid / ask Guess its technically Schwab after merger ?
