He clarified that he would do nothing to undermine the Bills he passed; that he would use the veto to block GOP attempts to roll back any programs. That's EXACTLY what he said.
As for doing nothing? Infrastructure and the Chips Bill were hardly nothing. Neither was putting a cap on Medicare drug costs, particularly Insulin.
Did you hear a single GOPER say what they were going to about inflation? They have no plans to address any problems
