Re: USS JOHNSTON #129906
…or is the data coming out of Brazil still in the incubator. Full term must wait for Southern Hemisphere winter IMHO, but might appear out of the blue…a ghost ship with good news and perhaps an EUA. Bolsanaro “take your covid19 like a man” just got edged out by Lula “man of the people” and would represent a shift in attitude regarding the need for a treatment…perhaps. Clear to us this side of the Panama Canal that we don’t need many patient’s in the critical study to deliver the smoking gun. Git-er-done Einstein.
We have 369 7 day average people a day dying in the US…I know a drug which could become standard of care that might have something to say about that. This might be the dark horse that rounds the bend under cover of darkness to surprise us all, including the FDA, which might have to drop it’s bone and take notice in light of the hold. Or could be like the Iditarod team in 1925 that endured 1000 miles of whiteout and crushing cold to deliver the much hoped for diphtheria antitoxin to Nome. Until Cytodyn officially puts a bullet in the study it is active…don’t count them out even if we are not “pursuing covid19” in terms of company priorities. Leronlimab might be the drug that launched a thousand ships…just hasn’t hit the news wire…yet.
