It appears that the UK moves forward on new technology much faster than the USA.
I understand the need for safety, but when patients are in a position where the new technology can only help and not hurt ,why not move much faster to possibly save the lives of many? At least give the patient the chance to OK or nix the procedure and not leave it in the hands of a bureaucracy.
