Snpw failed in recognizing the importance of a public hearing and the significance of locals inputs/opinions. Snpw should have begun a community action plan the day they decided to move forward with a facility - to educate, reinforce the benefits, profit share to a park/recreational facility etc.

Did snpw really think the locals would be in favor of a facility that imports medical waste from local regions and states to their city to be processed. Failure to mitigate these concerns is hard to fathom.
