I am going to take a guess that you broker did not buy into the unauthorized NUGX ticker symbol for NuGenerex and so just kept the original 037CN numeric designation. As long as this 037CN is referencing NuGenerex stock, I would think that your shares are as safe as mine, or any other NUGX designated shares, whatever "safe" might be.
This is why the new owner(s), if they want to act with honor, will need to have some kind of contact with the (us) minority shareholders explaining how and when they will be cleaning up Joe’s mess, so that when we see our brokers doing things with our shares, like suspending trade, or changing names, etc., we will understand what/why it is happening.
If the new owner(s) keep us in the dark, then I would fear that it is for nefarious reasons, so they can complete the “dirty deed(s)” before the shareholders can legally block the process.
