Also, I believe that John Gilbert was initially paid on the books of GTHI when Jim first brought him in to run MSE.  The acquisition was not completed on the books of GTHI, but an employee was paid, and it was from GTHI.  There may be some life already in GTHI because of accounting entries, but they also could have reversed everything out, and maybe Jim paid John from some other account.  Does not really matter as things can be brought back to life with the stroke of a pen.  Only thinking a little is all I am doing.
