I think that the appraisal was based mostly on the Covid vaccine potential. Now that Covid is under control and the mRNA vaccine working and abundant, that appraisal value has disappeared. Having said that, that was not the reason I invested in Generex, it was because of the Ii-Key peptide technology. This technology still has, I believe, massive potential. When Joe made the move to create NuGenerex and move Ii-Key with it, I bought more GNBT just so I could get more NGIO dividend shares. While it is regrettable (and expensive) that my GNBT shares will become worthless, it is my tiny slice of NuGenerex and the Ii-Key technology that I hope will bear the fruit I was originally investing in. I see the Ii-Key peptide technology being far more advanced than the mRNA technology. The difference being like that of an X-Ray to an MRI scan.
I know nothing about the new buyers. But having a cynical view of companies, screwing their employees and investors every chance they get, I can’t help to envision a negative future for us NuGenerex minority shareholders. There is much to be sorted out with NuGenerex with the NUGX OTC fiasco, future financing, BOD, and who know what other Joe created messes. However, the new owners will be starting fresh without any external corporate baggage. My immediate concern is when the new owners “sweep clean” the NuGenerex internal corporate mess, that our NGIO/NUGX shares don’t end up in the trash can with our GNBT stock. If/when we pass that hurdle, then it is my hope that the new owner will have whatever it takes to maximize all of the NuGenerex potential.
