A suspicious person, certainly not ME , would think that the big tanking of the stock price has been a manipulated move to shake out shareholders and let people in the know load up at low prices.

There is no way to keep results like this from leaking out before the press release. There are too many people who will have seen results before publication, not just from AVXL but from regulatory agencies etc. and also we know that there have been cases where people in the online PR agencies who handle the release --- leak the info. Often, these PRs go to the online news service with plenty of lead time. Plenty for them to tip off hedge funds, I mean.
