BUSTED Issuing Fake Addresses For Illegals
Imperial Minister of Domestic Security Alejandro Mayorkas got busted issuing fake addresses to that batch of Martha’s Vineyard migrants.
Democrats are furious. He’s snarling the chaos they like to call a system. Clogging the computers with bogus information is grinding them to a halt.
Is a fake ID valid if it’s handed to you by those authorized to issue real ones?
The legal world will soon find out. The Imperial Ministry of Domestic Security is, as Fox News writes, “in the political cross-hairs of both Republicans and Democrats.”
Their headline leads unwary readers to believe that’s because of the “shipping of illegal immigrants from Texas and Florida to sanctuary cities in the northern U.S.” Statements like that show how unfair and imbalanced Faux News is these days. The real issue is bogus ID.
Republican lawmakers are demanding Mayorkas come up with some answers.
He’s not as much of a “Mr. Clean” as he looks. Alejandro ordered his agents to assign fake “permanent addresses for illegal immigrants who arrived in Martha’s Vineyard that are the addresses of homeless shelters around the country.”
It wouldn’t be so bad if maybe it was one homeless shelter for the whole group, and at least somewhere in the vicinity of Cape Cod, where they ended up. No, that makes too much sense. They picked shelters at random and shuffled the list around the nation. A migrant from Venezuela, standing in Massachusetts, might be assigned an address in Alaska. Jose’s mail is going to have a hard time catching up. Especially when Jose moves to Ohio.
Republicans “worry that this practice helps legitimize illegal immigrants – many of whom have no actual address in the U.S.”
Democrats are mad because the fake addresses “could make it harder to process their claims for asylum and possibly remove them later, particularly if they are not actually located in those shelters.”
Thanks Alejandro, they snarl. Please don’t do us any more favors.
Marco Rubio was hopping up and down as he issued a statement.
Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio isn’t going to let this one slide by. “I will be demanding answers from DHS about reports from Martha’s Vineyard that federal agents assigned random homeless shelters across the country as the mailing addresses of illegal migrants, even after the migrants told them they had no address in the U.S.”
The government is now in the fake ID business. Mayorkas isn’t safe from Democrats either. He’s hired extra bodyguards.
“Mayorkas and his staff are also under attack from Democrats who want DHS to investigate the shipment of migrants from red states to heavily Democratic enclaves in the north.” They think Texas and Arizona should hang on to the entire invasion forever.
A total of 27 House Democrats ganged up on Mayorkas to send him a nastygram on the fake address subject. “The exploitation of asylum seekers, refugees, and other immigrants contradicts the values of our nation and the priorities of the Biden-Harris [regime]. Reports from migrants describe being lured onto trips with promises of immediate assistance and expedited processing.”
