So RTB, regarding the recent S3s, at what price per share would you think some of the investors listed therein would be willing to sell their shares at?
Say to the shorts who are willing to "Cover" or "buy back" their borrowed shares at lower prices than from where they borrowed them, so they can complete their loan agreements.
Because, longs are not willing to sell their shares at these low prices, yet, short traders are successful in their practice of shorting because there exist contracts/individuals who are willing to sell their shares "which have now become sellable through the S3" directly to the shorts who need to cover, directly through brokerage firms, without affecting the price per share of the stock, because it is not done at market, but rather, at market price.
