The only thing the cell phone narrative you just posted could do is remove you as a person of interest if that traffic proved you were not at the scene of a crime because your phone, presumably in your possession and not that of an accomplice, shows you to be elsewhere.

It can't PROVE the opposite. You could have been at the scene of a crime and not have done the crime. That's where an accomplice with your phone comes in.
