I am with you, hoping someone picks up the loudspeaker next Wednesday and overloads the telegraph operator. Perhaps the lack of communication is speaking louder than words; while you can chalk it up to a change in company posture, it is somewhat telling that the most chatty person of all in a position to have some visibility of company trajectory and tended to be giddy with excitement about the road ahead has maintained radio silence: Nader. Discussions under NDA related to buyout or partnership are an obvious potential reason. Whatever it is was enough via exit clauses to make even Nader drop his microphone.
I worked as a civil servant for the Navy once at a refit operation and when a sub was put into dry-dock they would cover the propeller blades so inquiring minds could not draw any inferences via satellite or other imagery on the latest “silent” technology. I just watched The Wolfs Call…great movie and reminder the greatest threat derives from the ability to completely shut down any sound emanation…we are running silent at the moment, the game is afoot…it feels like we are watching paint dry but it may be instructive to listen to what is not being said.
