You knew I could. Now, I know like most of the Trumpanzees who post here that you are a literalist. If the exact words 'I like Putin and what he is doing' are not there then it means he's not praising Putin.
A reasonable person, on the other hand, infers from the following bending over backwards not to criticise Putin, making excuses for Putin and Russia, as implicit approval of Putin and Russian actions. Praise by default, by implication, absent legitimate and full throated condemnation of Putin.
