Your son seems to all ready have somewhat of a financial plan for his future, lol. Thats great! I love collecting. Grandparents owned an antique newspaper, and i have collected since i was little.  I wish I would have kept mine away from trading a little longer. Kind of made them grow up fast. But i could not keep them from it!  We were always together at night watching TV and instead of cartoons we all watched Kudlow, lol. They would hear us talking, and read whatever we were reading!  So instead of savings accts, they had stock accts. They can trade freely pretty much but cant touch their own money til age 21,  and their best of breed til they are 25. My uncle died several years ago of cancer and the money he left them, we bought apple stock. He worked for apple for years, helped build the first home computers. so it seemed like the perfect tribute to him. So whenever they would take profits from Apple we would suggest that they buy best of breed because their money is usually safe. Im like you. I wish at my youngest daughters age, i was worth what she is. It kills me how smart kids are these days!
