You can and MARKET has done just that. But when there will be hundreds of LIVE streams going on in the future, it doesn't make sense to have them all at the same time and some time slots are better than others.
Also I believe Verb schedules the events to be complementary rather than competing. You'd likely wouldn't have 6 events going on at the same time in the same category. I doubt you'd see BestBuy and Target at the same time as an example, but we'll see.
