That is an interesting question to toy with. Two complementary things occur to me. There is such a headwind against Huawei in Western capitols that there is probably very little that Podesta can offer. Opposition to Huawei is probably one of the few areas for Republicans and Democrats may agree. Supporting that idea is how little $5000 represents when it comes to buying the time of a high powered lobbyist. It is almost laughable it is so little.

QMC on the other hand is a completely different story. There is a lot Podesta could offer. While substantial he could still chew through low six figures pretty quickly. But it speaks well of Quantum that it seeks to be a player on the grand stage and is willing to pay for top tier representation.
