If a President or CEO did not have any control or impact of matters such as this, why does the position even exist?
If not, then they should have merely kept the position open and not hired anyone and saved the money and waited until the hold was lifted, which obviously I am not arguing for.
Damn right it is fair to judge him for this. And, he is being judged for this, among other things.
Go back to my captain analogy. And, the buck stops on his desk. Fix it or pack your bags.
He took the job because he believed he could right the ship. I trust him to get the job done. And, there is a huge reward to him (and all of us) if he succeeds.
