Voting in favor was simply the smart move, not a desperate move or a show of 100% faith in mgmt.
They still had shares left to keep the lights on, so it wasn't certain bankruptcy without the raise.
More than likely, adding 350m to the war chest is just a show of strength in the face of any suitors or partners.
