Yes the price of oil went down in last couple of weeks not because of mr. Branden. The only reason was the slow down in global economy including china. No magic there. However, XOI index which is measure of oil prices has risen from mid 1400 in mid July to almost 1730 as close of today. Expect huge increase in oil prices in coming weeks.
