Fair point that borrowed shares could be returned without being sold but my understanding is fintel reports actual short volume and that did go down by about 7.7 million shares over the month. That said, the volume on the rise to the $1.20’s can’t solely be explained by the diminished net short change…seems something else must be afoot but I don’t trust any of these moves up or down unless accompanied by palpable news, which we are still waiting on.
