Starting on 7/21 and for 12 days until 8/4 somebody (be that an individual or an institution) consistently accumulated shares.
I don't believe in "coincidences" or "long term optimism" or "ignorance" in the stock market. Everything has a purpose and a reason.
It is of course greed and fear, but what prompted the greed of this somebody ??
The last 20 days before 8/4 the average price and volume were respectively $0.415 and 1'404.255 shares. During the 12 accumulation days this was $0.797 and 5'710.955
If we assume a float of 700 million shares this "somebody" managed to drive up the total worth of the company app. $268 Millions (using averages) or $553 Million using closing prices on 7/19 and 8/4.
The price has been declining since 8/5 when the campaign ended in a text-book cadence when the demand disappears and the normal bid-ask resumes.
One interesting thing here is that there was no patience, no restrain, "he" just wanted the shares pronto regardless of the price (the accumulation could have been executed surreptitiously during a longer period of time).
And the other interesting thing is that "she" had deep pockets.
The question is: (yes you guessed it) WHY???
I still think he/she knows something ...
