Re: VegasorBust #128082
The last two year FDA strategy in hind sight was to roll out the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and let Big Pharma profit off the pandemic. When the hold was put on the pandemic was still raging and with new variants they need to give time for boosters to be developed for BA.5 etc. So Novavax vaccine was slow walked as was leronlimab as a therapeutic. Tthe Novavax shot is not yet authorized by the FDA as a booster, duh. And then there is our success in Long Haulers which BTW was over a year ago.
Gilead needs time to develop an HIV treatment, Pfizer wants to enter NASH. I feel the FDA hold is going just as it was planned, and since NP is gone, we are now playing by THEIR rules.
BUT, these Big Pharma companies are cut throat and they go after each other, SO Moderna just filed suit against Pfizer for stealing its mRNA technology. This means that Pfizer having a good therapeutic like Leronlimab could undermine Moderna's new booster against BA5, not to mention LH and NASH
