That's just silly. The office is in Edison, NJ and Mark commutes from Pennsylvania, and most assuredly not from coal mining country. If he lives in Bucks County, cost of living is on a par with NYC as are real estate values.
But, I don't care where he's from, I mentioned where he currently lives. Can you not understand that he was CIO at Morgan and made a big salary as such? To think that these guys are "getting rich" at $150K per year is just more silliness.
If you are unsure about whether you'd step on people for 3X your current earnings, you need to speak to a religious figure or a therapist, you are ethically at sea. Which, I might add, would not surprise a lot of people in light of your record of making excuses for Kay's unethical behavior.
