FBI analyst who pushed ‘Trump-Russia’ hoax, lie that Hunter Biden’s laptop was ‘Russian disinformation,’ now identified

For the most part, the primary job of members of the FBI is to protect the deep-state governing regime at any cost, and they like to remain anonymous.

But one of the most sinister of them has been identified, and if our country still had a functioning system of justice, he would have been arrested, tried and convicted to serve decades behind bars by now.

Brian Auten

Brian Auten has been identified as the FBI analyst who pushed the blatant lie that Donald Trump was a Russian ‘asset’ who worked with Vladimir Putin to ‘steal’ the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.
What’s more, he’s recently been identified as the driving force behind the equally false claim that the heavily incriminating data found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop was the work of Russia planting pre-2020 election ‘disinformation.’

As reported by the Washington Free Beacon:

Whistleblowers who contacted the office of GOP senator Chuck Grassley say he was behind an August 2020 report that FBI officials used as part of a “scheme…to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.”

Auten’s report also caused the FBI “to cease” investigative activity into the younger Biden, according to a letter Grassley sent the Justice Department and FBI.

The whistleblower allegations are the latest evidence of politicization at the FBI. Grassley, the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said the allegations, if accurate, show the FBI and Justice Department are “institutionally corrupted to their very core.”

“The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation,” Grassley wrote.

“First, it’s been alleged that the FBI developed information in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity,” Grassley’s letter continued. “ It is further alleged that in August 2020, FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten opened an assessment which was used by a FBI Headquarters (“FBI HQ”) team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease.

“Based on allegations, verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation,” t he Iowa Republican continued.

Auten was a leading figure in “Crossfire Hurricane,” the FBI’s counterintelligence probe into Trump and his ‘alleged’ ties to Russia.

In a December 2019 report, the Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, said that an FBI analyst since identified as Auten “failed to advise” others at the bureau about the inconsistencies contained in the widely debunked Steele dossier, the ‘report’ that served as the basis for the bureau’s investigation into Trump.

Mind you, Auten did not ‘fail’ to tell anyone due to a mistake; he purposely withheld the information because he was part of then-FBI Director James Comey’s hit squad aiming to derail Trump’s candidacy (and then presidency) because they knew he would not ‘play ball’ with the deep state elite.

“Auten’s involvement in the Hunter Biden saga, which was not previously known, is likely to come under scrutiny because of his involvement in the Trump-Russia probe,” the Washington Free Beacon report continued. “Auten took part in the Hunter Biden matter even though he was seemingly referred to the FBI’s disciplinary office for investigation because of the inspector general’s findings.”

He wasn’t disciplined, obviously, which again tells us that his role within the agency is not only one that was assigned but condoned: He is a political hitman and a propagandist, nothing more, spreading disinformation and lies while blaming foreign entities for doing the same thing.

But now that Grassley has this new information, what will happen? Anything?

That’s doubtful because it would mean the dementia patient in the White House, who was in on framing Trump, would have to authorize his ‘Justice’ Department to act. And his Obama handlers will never tell him to do that because if Auten falls, he’ll take them with him.
