We've discussed how CYDY and NVAX both have been mercilessly slow-walked and maligned publicly by the FDA.
Some of us think it's to keep competition from hurting Big Pharma, with whom they so often get jobs after leaving the FDA.
People were saying, why did it take the FDA 6 months to convene a review committee for the Novavax vaccine after they submitted ALL data? Why did it take them 2 weeks after the committee voted to approve, to actually approve it, and why did the CDC slow-walk it another week after that? Could it have something to do with protecting Moderna and Pfizer?
Any questions?

In its second-quarter results announcement, Moderna said it wrote off $499 million in inventories "related to COVID-19 products that have exceeded or are expected to exceed their approved shelf-lives prior to being used." In addition, the company took a $184 million charge because of changes in prior purchase committments, and it recorded an expense of $131 million for "unutilized external manufacturing capacity."
Any questions?
