Well if GOD was here before time space and matter how does the image of man fit in? Meaning man was here before time space and matter. Our image of GOD is not what anyone on earth could ever fathom. Hasn't anything to do with likeness what so ever but if one doesn't believe that then GOD makes mistakes but Jesus didn't.
