yes, i've been paying attention to my other shell stocks when they do an AS increase and explain their reasoning. I just spent like an hour this morning trying to find one example where the company had to raise AS in order to cancel shares. Couldn't find it and am not suggesting EGOC is cancelling shares, but there appears to be lots of technical reasons for AS raise, including acquisitions, protecting against unwanted change of company control, securing financing, etc.
