In a case such as CYDY, the nice side effect of the price increase is just as it can be detrimental when it goes down in a snowball effect, the reverse is true as well.
The higher the price, the less dilutive the share exchanges, the easier to raise funds, the longer their runway, confidence builds, etc... So as the price goes up, the momentum & likelihood for it to continue to go up increases.
