Rusty...anything is possible but generally jet engines are hot and one might think why the jet they see isn't producing a white vapor trail yet the same jet on a different day produces a trail. the answer is because not only high heat from the engine is needed but there must be sufficient amount of moisture present in the crafts fight pattern.
