Unfortunately they couldn't step on his comments because of the problem I pointed out about 18 months ago. Its terrible governance to have a direct report to the CEO be the Chairman of the Board and thats the structure we had until last November. 60 days later NP was fired. I dont even like CEOs being COBs. i think its one of the biggest problems with American companies boards. They should be outside the company as an independent which we have today. i think its also why the company is better managed. My believe is our COB has been directing traffic while waiting to fill the new executive position. The CFO was just keeping the seat warm....
