The CDC still has to sign off on Novavax, and they say they may get around to reviewing it sometime next week.
Let's remember that Pfizer's ineffective vaccine for young kids (37% efficacy, far below the 70% "minimum" ) was approved by FDA and CDC in 2 days. Novavax filed for approval last January but the FDA didn't convene the Advisory Committee until July 7.
