27-year-old leftist Samuel Benjamin was caught on tape assaulting a man who had been volunteering for a local Republican congressional candidate. Sanford Police later arrested Benjamin for assault.
The viral clip shows the violent Benjamin hitting the unnamed man after being confronted about why he had been ripping up GOP political signs.
Benjamin could be seen standing in the center median of the street when his victim questioned, “Is there a reason why you are tearing that sign down?”
Then, the violent leftist started cursing at the driver.
Afterwards, Benjamin tossed his drink at the victim’s car and attempted to reach his hands inside the car to assault the driver.
