First Lady Jill Biden criticized after breakfast tacos remark during speech in San Antonio
First Lady Dr. Jill Biden is under scrutiny after a controversial comment she made at the UnidosUS Annual Conference in San Antonio Monday.
Mainly the issue is that her event was a “latinx” event, something that is pretty unpopular amongst the Latino community. A lot of Latinos see it as something along the lines of cultural imperialism, but you can’t really call it out, because the progressives think that they’re doing someone “less capable” and “culturally inferior” a favor.
They won’t take the hint. So it’s more acceptable to call her on the slightly racist comment of associating tacos to the Latino community, since tacos are only native to Mexico and is not really inclusive to the Latino community at large.
