09:15 AM EDT, 07/08/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Neptune Wellness Solutions Inc.(NEPT) , a diversified and fully integrated health and wellness company focused on plant-based, sustainable and purpose-driven lifestyle brands, on Friday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter net loss of $36.2 million, or $7.25 per share, as compared with a loss of $$43.5 million, or $0.29 per share, a year ago.
The company's stock was up 5.3% in Canada yesterday.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $11.5 million, up from $4.7 million a year earlier.
Further, the company said the previously announced planned divestiture of the cannabis business is expected to realize annualized payroll cost savings of US$4.4 million.
