The company was expecting to build a non glass solar panel facility in Florida.
See how non glass certification was a hot topic during that time)
For what ever reason funding didn't happen.Once the Florida solar panel manufacturing facility was deemed to be dead there was no reason to waste limited resources,.so non glass solar panels were pushed to the back burner.
I am expecting UL certification to be full throttle once the new solar panel manufacturing facility is up and running.
IMHO, NMG is a parachute. As long as the company remains operational it will be in the Sun Pacific Power subsidiary and will be used to protect assets from legal action and bankruptcy,
