are they going to PR Cyrus coming on board? personally, i'd love to hear from the guy. i know we're now the "quiet company" but after 7 months of no true leader, would be great to hear from guy at the helm. and throw in Christine Corrado to boot (did someone say, "bonus!".
I've continued to think about the call, and the issues at hand. my view:
1. We will get the clinical hold lifted - because it is bogus.
2. We will get the BLA submitted successfully - once the hold is lifted - because we have the right people focused on it now.
3. We will get money from Amarex - because they're handling of our company's BLA was beyond egregious - criminal, and they don't have a leg to stand on.
4. NASH will bear fruit - at least from my understanding of the initial data being excellent - but we have work left to do.
What i have no clue on is timing - and that is the key to all of this. the legal and regulatory stuff we have to clear will surely take months, vs weeks. so i think we're looking at the Fall for these things to be buttoned up. some speculate that we're negotiating with partners and / or buyers right now. my question is - is that in our best interest? should we wait until we are in a position of strength? i sure think so - i'd rather wait a few months and get a much, much better deal than sell or partner from such a position of uncertainty.
What i'm very excited about is Cyrus - he seems to have the connections and street cred to work well with regulators, lawyers, etc. to advance these items. (NP was the opposite, and was a guy who seemed to love to fight - and who pissed off everyone in the process). We finally have someone who can focus solely on the strategic direction of the company, restoring credibility, and finally getting the respect we deserve.
