Not many fireworks going off here this year. Perhaps nobody has extra money to spend 100s dollars on a boom?
But years back, we would hear the constant bang, booms, all weekend long. Hard to get the powder these days. Potassium Perchlorate and black German aluminum mesh. Used to make to many "m80s" and "Quarter sticks" back in the day. 2 ingrediants. Ship one to a friend's house and ship the other to another house. Mix the powder only in the humid summer weather. Mixing it in the dry winter could easily ignite the slightest of a spark to set it off. It's Flash Powder, the main ingredient used in all fireworks.
They still asking me this day if I have any.lol
