I pay attention to what Swarm has to say because I believe he is an honest, though very pessimistic, cynic. I believe he attributes changes in company goals (such as the dropping of the Bo-Tie unit) to some kind of broken promise. He does the same with things that we don't know about yet, such as status of the Hoss. He betrays strong emotion and sometimes rants as a result.
