Also please note Paxlovid resistance would only spread forward by rebound because those receiving it almost all certainly isolate during that 5 day course. So the likelihood you are seeing forward transmission is low. Let’s be serious about what’s happening in the real world.
So this is a failure of public health to recommend longer isolation. That should change now! You would solve the Paxlovid resistance issue with better public health recommendations. In any case, #Tollovir is a better solution
